Belif Aqua Bomb Review

Moisturizers have always been a hard thing for me to find, due to my excessively sensitive skin. I have to avoid most thick creams that soothe my facial eczema because then my acne breaks out but most other moisturizers are too oily for my taste. When I opened one of my Sephora play boxes, i received a sample of the Belif Aqua Bomb and immediately fell in love!

This moisturizer retails for $38 at Sephora. It is for oily to combo skin and that is essentially me, because I only occasionally get dry patches on my face. This is a gel formula and it is very soothing and cooling. I have had my new jar for a week and use it excessively and have barely made a dent in it, so it is definitely worth the price. This is also one of the only moisturizers I can apply to my facial eczema without it burning, so thats a plus too! The only negative I have found is that it doesn’t get rid of my dry patches, I have to use a stronger one on them, but in its defense they are pretty bad. This is also what I use under my makeup because I don’t use primer and it keeps my skin hydrated and healthy all day! I love this product so much and its my holy grail of moisturizers, I highly recommend this product!

Hope you enjoyed!

Fenty Foundation and Concealer Review

I am a person that is basically a foundation hoarder, I love trying new things and cycle through foundations like there is no tomorrow. I originally wanted to buy the fenty foundation in June, but I knew my tan wouldn’t last, so I ended up buying it in February!

IMG_20190220_195104.jpgThe catalyst for this purchase was a free Fenty mini makeover at Sephora! I fell in love with the foundation, and the person that helped me taught me a bunch of tips to deal with my concerns!

My main concern was that people said it was EXTREMELY DRYING and I already have a lot of dry skin on my face, with the exception to my very oily T-Zone. She told me that if I use a very long lasting moisturizer under it, with an optional primer (which I avoid primers cause they make me break out) will help combat the matte-ness. My only other concern was the creasing, cause I “talk with my eyebrows”, and my under eyes get very creasy, and she recommended another product for that which works wonders (review coming soon!!!). She did my full face, and I loved it, so I caved and bought the foundation and concealer! The shade match was spot on and I ended up gettin 150 in the foundation and the concealer. I love this so much and it is stunning! The concealer is very full coverage, and I LOVE that the shade numbers match, it cuts out a lot of guessing! I highly recommend this to anyone, just know that if you have dry skin, you need to put on a pretty thick layer of moisturizer on before hand. I applied it with a sponge myself, mainly because i’m not a fan of applying foundation with a brush, but the stylist at Sephora used a brush and it was still stunning! And if you have sensitive skin, like me, know it hasn’t caused any problems with me and it isn’t uncomfortable or itchy at all! This picture is of me wearing both products as my base!

Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation Review

Ive wanted to buy an expensive foundation for a while and I chose the Amazonian clay foundation from Tarte because of its formula. I have pretty dry skin yet I have a really oily nose. This foundation is full coverage and feels really light.

I got the shade Light Neutral because I am still tanning but my face is much paler than my body so it evens it out. I would say that this is a medium coverage foundation, but it can be built up. I am really happy with this foundation but I wish it was more full coverage.

Hope you enjoyed!

Tips/Tricks/Routines

My Skincare Routine

I don’t do much in terms of skincare.

In a previous post, I mentioned that I dermaroll from scars that I have on my face. Thats pretty much the most unusual thing I do. I wash my face with a foaming ultra gentle cleanser. I use a face moisturizer too!

My face is combination skin, my T-zone and chin are oily and the rest of my face is dry. I also have really sensitive skin, so I have to be careful with the products I use on my face. I wash my face at night, and sometimes I skip it if my skin is extra sensitive.

I have also mentioned that I am addicted to face masks, and I use 1-2 masks a week. I use face masks from the Creme Shop all the time. I also have a lot of random face masks.

I really have wanted to join Facetory, but I have hesitated because of my sensitive skin, because not all masks are good for sensitive skin.

I have a pretty average skincare routine but it works really good for my sensitive skin. I still get breakouts but normally the face masks help with that.

** I just subscribed to Curology (personalized acne treatment) and will do a review on that after a few weeks!

Hope you enjoyed!
